“Real Madrid and AS Roma are betting on sustainability in the trophy that will be played on August 11th at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, at 8 pm, under the name of MABEL GREEN CUP. This match, in cup format, aims to make sustainability not only an object of awareness, dissemination and debate, but also a cause for enjoyment within the football framework, acting as a loudspeaker for a greater global awareness of maximum respect for the environment”.
MABEL GREEN CUP, the first football match at the highest international level, the profits of which went to causes related to environmental protection. A meeting in which we brought together thousands of people to enjoy the sport and support the clear message that we launched from the organization, “Save Our Planet”.
Esha Gupta, the event’s ambassador and environmental activist, was in charge of presenting the trophy to the winning team. A very special trophy that became the first living trophy in the history of football, a bonsai that symbolized nature and the daily care it requires.
