Within the framework of “LaLiga is played at home”, Komodo conceptualized, designed and produced this virtual macro-concert in which international artists from Universal Music and GTS (such as Aitana, Bisbal, Sebastián Yatra, Tini, Beret, Lang Lang, J.Balvin, Danna Paola, Ainhoa Arteta, Antonio Orozco, Alejandro Sanz, Raphael, Vanesa Martin among others) LaLiga players and our loyal presenters Tony Aguilar and Eva González, collaborated to raise funds to fight Covid -19. More than 1 million euros were raised through the Santander Foundation thanks to the more than 50 million people who followed it from their homes thanks to the more than 100 platforms that La Liga has.
Our great challenge was to organize this macro-festival with 100% of our staff working from home, given the situation in the country. For the technical and production part we had the exhaustive work of more than 60 people during only seven days. Connected each of them from their home, and through digital platforms such as Zoom, videoconferences, watsaaps, email, etc., we organized the logistics of the whole event, and set up a production control with streaming with an ad hoc designed engineering to generate an aesthetic of the broadcast TV program from where we could give coverage to all the live connections we made with artists, celebrities, football players and other guests.
One of the key points of this event, was the meticulous work of scriptwriting, video editing, pieces, graphics and campaign, as well as the layout of the 20 artists and 20 footballers, taking into account that all the videos came in raw from their mobiles, without high resolution, so Komodo’s creative team had to square and edit all the pieces to achieve the optimal resolution for broadcast… and everything from home!
