2020 has been a year to remember, and at an unusual time hit by a global pandemic, we had to reinvent the way we celebrated US Independence Day in the city of Madrid.
To this end, we designed, composed and produced a nocturnal video mapping that was screened the 4th of July at the Puerta de Toledo. The Madrid monument was the canvas on which to project the flags of the United States and Spain to commemorate one of the most unusual 4th of Julys we’ll ever see.

On July 4th, Independence Day was celebrated in the United States and Americans living in our country had to have their own celebration. Since 2013, Komodo has been the creative producer in charge of managing the event at the stage. Every year, Komodo focuses on a different topic to work within all the activities surrounding this important date.
